Wednesday at the University

I am sitting in the computer lab at Georgia State University. It is hard to figure out how long the commute to the university will take. Some days the traffic is stopped so it takes over an hour and today I was able to breeze through. The parking lot was FULL but I finally found a spot and rode the bus closer to the University. It seems that it takes longer to get here than I am actually in class. Right now, I am not feeling to swell. I have a horrible head cold or something. Not fun! On Tuesday, I overslept because Sydney Katya had a bad night. Bryce missed the bus so I had to load everyone and take them to drop Bryce off. This is a complicated procedure but so goes life! I took my second of quizzes last night for my Finance course. I did well!! YEAH!! I am thinking it is soon going to get REALLY hard. Landon and Parker Reid went with me to the library yesterday. I gave them a big lecture that if anyone was trying to take them to yell really loud. They said, "but we will get kicked out of the library!!" I thought this was amusing. My cousin had a baby yesterday. His name is Mario Joseph! Congrats Josh and Karin! Well, that is enough for now, I will go study!!

Big Canoe: Part 1

A few weeks ago we went to a friend's cabin at Big Canoe, this is in North Georgia. I forgot to post the pictures. Here they are:

Our first week of school is over!!

Yesterday was FINALLY FRIDAY which completed the first week of school for Ryan and I. It all went pretty well. Things have not been easy but definately interesting. We had a bad electrical storm Thursday night so Ryan's school on Friday was cancelled. This was good because Bryce had a sub bus driver who didn't show up so I had to take him to school. It is easier to take just him (not all 4). Friday afternoon Ryan and I took the boys and Sydney Katya to Stone Mountain. It was HOT!!! We decided to play putt-putt golf. We quit about half way through because we were so hot. Then we went to have a picnic and before we finished making sandwiches, a huge storm came up. Lightning, thunder and later came the rain but we made it to the car with the cooler and kids before it started. WHEW!!! After that we went to the YMCA to go swimming but the pool was closed so we played indoor soccer. It was enjoyable and worked out to be a nice evening.

Saturday::

We are expecting rain again today but the boys have been outside this morning. I have been working on a little reading which is taking up lots of time because the articles are sooooooooo long. Well, I am sure that is enough boring news for now.

Starting at the University

Hello to all!! Yesterday was my first day of class. Things went well even though I ended up being late on the first day. I left later than what I should and the MARTA took a while. I am taking Managerial Decision Making on Monday and Wednesday and Finance on Tuesday. The Finance class is online. I will have the first meeting today for that class. Ryan started school yesterday too. It is going to be a crazy semester for all of us. I hope that it will go smoothly and we will be able to find time to do the things we need to do. In the mornings, I am working with Landon on writing his letters. He is very strong-willed so it has been a challenge. Please pray for us that we will balance school and family time.

Our busy week!

This week has been a busy one. Tuesday we went to the Atlanta Zoo. Yes, it was very hot but fun. Landon, Parker, Sydney Katya and I went with our friends Paxton, Marlo and Jelaine. We really had a good time. The kids enjoyed the playground more than the animals. I forgot my camera so no pictures from this trip. Wednesday we decided to take Parker Reid to the doctor because he had been complaining of his stomach and running a fever since Friday afternoon. I realize that that is 5 days but usually they just get better. After a LONG doctor's appointment, she said he had a bladder infection. He is on antibiotics and is now feeling much better. Wednesday and Thursday I was able to help in Bryce's classroom. I really enjoy being in his room and he seems to enjoy me being there. Thursday afternoon, our whole family went over to the Joseph's (our zoo friends) to swim and have dinner. The kids enjoyed swimming. Sydney Katya ate some dead bugs while she was crawling on the ground. Ryan was able to practice for the triathalon which is in September. It has been a busy but good week. I will try to upload some pictures soon.
