Cute Girl

Sydney Katya was very whiny today so I needed some quiet time. Ryan shut the door to our room and this is what she thought about that.
Hey, Mommy where are you???
Hey Daddy, How can I get into this room???

Our move to Valdosta and LOTS OF BLACKBERRIES!!

Reagan looks mad at Sydney Katya but he loved her.

Sorry that I haven't blogged since we moved. We have been very busy adjusted to our new life. On Thursday, we unpacked and then went on a bike ride. We went by a friend's house to get some more pictures from my Ukraine trip (as if I didn't already have enough). The boys love riding bikes and so do I especially on the flat roads here (much easier than mom's neighborhood). Friday my father-in-law and I went to the board office to get the kid's proof of residency for school!! It was a very easy and quick trip. Later that night we went to eat with Mike Johnson, his wife and Chris Bundrick and his wife. It was nice to remember times we were in school together. Ryan went to the Batman movie with them and I came home to relieve the Jackson's of babysitting duties. Today I invited Patience and her boys over for a swim. We enjoyed comparing mom stories. It is nice to have a mom who understands boys. Thanks Patience. It was fun!!! Tonight Allison, Ryan, Mrs. Jackson, the boys, Ansley and Brayden and I went to pick blackberries. Picking blackberries in one of my FAVORITE summer activities but I usually pick wild ones with briars and in very grown up areas. Allison invited me to a place and the berries were GREAT. We picked berries about 2/1/2 hours. It was so much fun and the berries were very tasty. The kids picked for a little while then went on to play for the remaining time together. On our way home Mr. Jackson called asking when we would be home. He was watching Sydney Katya (she wanted MOMMY)!!! Thank you so much for watching her. She would have been very difficult to watch at this place. Well, that sums up a few days. We are having a good time and the kids are enjoying being back with some of their old friends (and I am too).

Bryce took these 2 of me with the bowl of berries.

A day at Summer's

Yesterday mom and I went over to Summer's with the kids. We went to Summer's work which the kids LOVE. They walked into every room and Sydney Katya ran around squealing. Then Parker Reid called dibs on riding in Summer's car. The other boys were very jealous but oh well. We had lunch and then off to Target to get backpacks and lunch boxes for school. Summer and Mom were buying and the boys had NO trouble finding which ones they wanted. We went back to Summer's and dropped the kids on Josh (thanks, Josh) and then went to Wal mart. When we came back Summer, mom and I went to the pool with the kids. Parker Reid practiced his swimming. Landon and Bryce raced a little kid to the end of the pool. The kid kept saying that they didn't beat him but they both did at different times. It was amusing to listen to. After a few hours at the pool, we went back to the house and left the kids with Josh again (I have the BEST brother-in-law EVER))) and went to dinner. We went to the Fickle Pickle. I am a very picky eater but Summer and Mom FINALLY found a sandwich that I liked!! It was delicious. Thanks Summer for the school goodies!! The boys LOVE them and hardly ever take them off. Thanks to mom for the other school stuff and the meals. Yummy!! I will miss you both so much!! You will have to come and visit often.

Parker Reid is a fast swimmer!!

Going away party for us

These are some more from this week going to the pool. Parker Reid can swim the length of the pool now. Yeah!! No Floaties or anything!!

We can always count on Summer to come up with a reason to have a party. She wanted to have a going away party for us yesterday. So we did!! Mom made some delicious food. Ryan cooked some chicken wings (not just ordinary either), very yummy!! All my siblings came over to celebrate our moving to Valdosta on Thursday (although we are all a little sad to be separated in distance again).

I LOVE my brothers!!!

Back home and CRAZY!!

So I have almost made it through 1 full week back home, it has been interesting. As usual things are very busy. The kids are CRAZY as always. I feel like I was thrown back into a boxing ring (sometimes) and I am the referee. The noise level is off the charts (especially since I haven't heard this much for almost a month). I LOVE my LIFE though!! On Tuesday, I stayed home and unpacked. Wednesday we went swimming at our neighbor's pool. Thursday I went to see Samuel and went swimming again. We spent the day with him and enjoyed looking at the pictures of his trip. We had a good dinner together. Yesterday we went to the pool again and today too. Last week this time, Vitaliy and I were locked out of his apartment for about 2/1/2 hours. Finally after we called everyone we could think might have a key, rang the doorbell and sat in the stairwell; his roommates opened the door so Big D could leave. WOW! We were not very happy but it was a funny story. I think that my sister is coming over tomorrow. Can't wait to see her and show her my pictures. I will post our swimming pictures sometime.
