A trip to visit Lyuba!

A few weeks ago we went to Gainesville, Fl for the day! We were able to spend the day with Lyuba, Bill and Ira. We had a great time and Lyuba made palmini for lunch (a pasta dish). We walked over to a park and saw a real alligator. It was so cool!!

Happy Birthday, Bryce (a little late)

Bryce's 8th birthday was last Friday. We had our birthday waffle at school. I took two waffle makers but when I arrived figured out that one was not working. It took a little longer to make them with one. The kids enjoyed them. Bryce's teacher was so excited. She hadn't eaten a homeade waffle in I think she said over 8 years. WOW!! She really enjoyed it! One of Bryce's classmates gave him a soccer ball and all the kids signed it. That was such a sweet idea. Bryce's birthday was at the park on Saturday. It was a beautiful day to be outside. After the party we had Mexican food and opened presents with the Jacksons. Things have been busy this week sorry it took so long to post this.

Meeting with the governor of our GREAT STATE!!

Bryce's teacher wrote a grant about the state of Georgia and some other things they are learning about and she was awarded the grant money. So they are headed to the state capitol today and the aquarium. They left at exactly 6:15 this morning! I know he will have a wonderful day. He is so blessed to have a teacher who loves what she does!! She is AWESOME and Bryce has learned so much this year. I know that he will learn a lot while on this trip. He also gets to meet with the governor today at 3:00. I can't wait to hear all about the trip.
