Behind the scenes of a wedding in South Georgia

Things to remember when planning a wedding in August in South Georgia:
1. Have a friend kneel down to be a step ladder and use duck tape to hang the lights.

2. Have someone to make sure the fans are working before starting to set everything up. If not, the gnats will attack you!!

3. Have LOTS of women working together that ALL have different opinions.

4. Take lots of silly pictures. It makes the time pass quickly!!

4. If things get too hot, go to the Jacksons. Take a refreshing swim and eat some blackberry sorbet.

Sydney Katya tries some new shoes

We hear a loud banging noise last night after we arrived home from the wedding. Sydney Katya was coming into the kitchen like this with Grandmommy's heels. I thought this was adorable. She loved the noise they made on the hardwood floors:)

Our friend comes to swim!

Wednesday of last week our friend Ansley came over to play with us. The kids went swimming and had a good time. Thanks Allison for letting her come over to swim. Sorry it has taken so long to post these pictures but the past few days I have been helping with a friend's wedding. I will post pictures from that too very soon.

Massacre of the Pack n Play!

Ryan came in a minute ago and said, "Do you have a plan B for Sydney's bed?" I said, "No, Why?" Ryan said, "Parker Reid found these>>>>>>>"

A really good reason why children do not EVER need scissors. Sydney Katya was thrilled though. Ryan asked Parker Reid what he did and he said he stuck his finger in the holes and pulled them bigger. Ryan said, I don't think so. He finally showed the scissors. Parker Reid said he didn't want to have to get Sydney Katya in and out of her crib. Now she can just crawl out:) Hope you all got a good laugh. Mom, please bring down another pack n play!!

Time for school!

Last night we toasted the started of school with our favorite sparkling grape juice.

This morning before school!

A Healthy Breakfast before school!

The boys started school this morning!! Bryce hopped up out of bed like he usually does and Landon had to have his back rubbed a few times before he was ready to get up. They got dressed and had breakfast. Grandmommy made muffins so the boys were very happy!! Everything was uneventful. Victoria rode to school with us this morning. It was nice to have an older kid with the boys on the way to school. They will not let the kids in the building till 7:45 so we were there a little early (we will sleep in later tomorrow). The boys went right in there classrooms and sat down. Landon was beaming from ear to ear with a smile!! He is so excited to finally get to go to school. We will see if the excitement remains. Pray that they will have a good year. Parker Reid and Sydney Katya and I cleaned out the van when we got home.
