Spring Blooms!

Our children

The Weekend

Friday we started off the weekend by helping our friends tile their bathroom. Ryan and I make a good team but it is definately hard to keep the kids entertained and Sydney Katya fed enough to get tiling done. We finished after about 7 hours!! Saturday I had a mom's meeting/brunch. I had a really good time and enjoyed the time away.

Our family had two uncles visit this weekend. Uncle Samuel and Uncle Luke came over to spend some time with us and reaffirmed their belief that they will never have children. The boys enjoyed all the fun playtime.

Ryan is getting ready for finals so keep him in your prayers.

Our busy Thursday

Thursday morning I was on the computer and my friend called to ask if I wanted to go to Ladies'Bible class. I decided that I might be able to make it on time so I started getting the kids ready. We had a really good class and I was able to see many of the ladies who I had not seen in a while. Michelle (my friend) and I went to take our boys to Chick-Fil-A to play on the playground. They only had a few fights with other kids in the playground area. It is very amusing to watch kids interact. When we returned home my dad thatched (pulled up dead grass) the yard and Ryan mowed. Bryce's friend David, his mom and sister came over to play yesterday afternoon too. Needless to say, it wasn't a very restful day as I had planned to have. Well, I need to get Bryce on the bus. I will sign off for now.

Zoo Atlanta and Playing Soccer

Yesterday we had a busy day. Parker Reid, Landon, Sydney and I met Bryce's school class at the Atlanta Zoo. It was a crazy day. His teacher split all the class into groups. I was in a group with 5 boys and 5 parents. Not only those but I had my other three with me. It was fun and relatively uneventful!! I was pushing Sydney in the stroller and pulling the wagon with the other two when someone walked by and said you have your hands full. I just looked at them and smiled. We had picnic lunch in the park and then drove back home. Later that day we had to finish homework. Spelling Tests are Thursday!!

Last night we had church. We are trying something a little different on Wednesdays. Bryce's teacher wanted him to interact with some refugee children. We enjoyed so much playing soccer with 7 little boys from Sudan and a country near Iraq (I have to look up the spelling). It was so much fun. Landon was able to play too!! The boys played very hard and I even was able to play too. After an hour of practice we had snacks. I had made some peanut butter sandwiches and brought fruit. The children devoured it. I think that some of them have large families living in very small apartments with limited food. One kid stuck a whole sandwich in his mouth (I was so afraid he would choke on it) and then he ate 4 more. I think he was hungry. Well, anyway that was the end of our very busy day. Today I am resting and relaxing!
