This weekend was a busy one! I would like to start by wishing Ryan a very Happy Birthday!!!! His birthday was on Saturday so we celebrated his and Sydney Katya's together. He wanted some BIG WATER GLASSES. He thinks the cups we have are too small so this is one of the things he received for his birthday (I have a picture below). Sydney Katya enjoyed her birthday party. It was a lot of fun watching her open all her presents. She was very animated in her expressions. She has started laughing in a very funny way (it is almost a cackle). Very FUNNY!! Summer and Josh came over to help celebrate the birthdays. Thank you guys for all you do!! We love you. Gran decorated everything in pink, complete with a Happy Birthday banner and matching plates and napkins. Ryan and I had a fun time making Sydney Katya's cake. She had one of her own and one for everyone else to eat. They were both carrot cakes and tasted YUMMY!! These pictures below are some that Summer took on her camera. I have about 50 or more so it will take a while to upload. There are a few from the Funival that we had last night a church. Check back in a few days for more pictures this is just a "Sneak Preview".

We have all enjoyed watching all the new things that she learns everyday. I love playing dress up!! She is so funny!! I am so thankful for all my children. On Sydney's first birthday I want to thank God for blessing our family with this precious baby girl!! We love you, Sydney Katya!! Happy Birthday!!

On Friday, mom, dad, Ryan and I took the kids to Boo at the Zoo!! We arrived and everyone was dressed in costumes (except us). I guess I didn't gather that from the pamphlet but all the other people did when they read it. Anyway, the kids were greeted by a guy who asked if we brought something to put our candy in; we said no. He said step over here and get a bag. We thought they were free. NOT HARDLY!! We decided to just use our plastic baggies. The candy was probably not going to make it in the bag, instead would go in the MOUTH!! We went through the maze and had a good time gathering candy and seeing all the costumes. Saturday was uneventful, we stayed around the house. Mom and Daddy went to Samuel's soccer game. I studied most of the day on Saturday for my test. Sunday we went to church, then to meet Ryan's school group at the AIDS WALK. We didn't stay long but were able to see the beautiful quilts in honor of some of the people who have died. Later Sunday, we decided to go to Stone Mountain for the pumpkin festival. Not all that I thought it would be, just really crowded! I did take some pictures from these activities but haven't had a chance to upload. I will try to soon.

Please pray for my grandparents as my grandad just had surgery to add some valves to his arteries. He had some pretty severe blockage. Pray for my dad and aunt as they care for my grandparents. We LOVE YOU, MEME AND PAPA!!!

This Thursday is my darling, little girl's 1st birthday. I will definately show pictures from all the activities. She will have her birthday waffle Thursday followed by a party on Saturday morning.

That is enough for now... check back later for pictures!

Sydney Katya thinks that when I lay down on the floor to work on my homework she should climb and jump on me. She loves to jump on my back and pull my hair. What a mess!!

This weekend

Friday I took landon to the ear doctor. Everything was okay and he passed his hearing test. Thanks to God!! He wanted to have his picture made so he could use one of the neat props. I took him to picture people. The pictures weren't all that great but we had a good time together. Saturday we all went to Covington for a Literary Festival. It was neat and the boys enjoyed all the games. They even had a book walk instead of the usual cake walk. The boys and Sydney Katya all enjoyed picking out books. Landon enjoyed the candy most of all. Ryan looked back at him on our way home and his mouth was STUFFED full of candy!!!!!!! He is our candy lover. We also went to a BBQ cookoff but it was less than what we had expected it to be. The BBQ was a little dry. Sunday was church and I worked on schoolwork all afternoon. The boys are enjoying the cooler weather. Today is school again. I have more pictures although Ryan says I should write more and show fewer pictures. It is hard because pictures usually speak better than words. Well, enough rambling, I need to go to class.

Funny kids

The boys are always leaving a mess of toys in my mom and dad's front yard. It doesn't usually bother me but my dad always wants them to pick up or move the toys to the backyard. I always tell Ryan I guess Daddy thinks he will win "yard of the month". The other day mom told the boys to pick up the front yard. I said hurry so that we can win yard of the month. Landon later on was encouraging the other boys and said, "Ya'll hurry I want to win student of the month"! I laughed so hard. The next day Bryce was talking to our neighbor. He told her that we were trying to win "yard of the month" and told her that she should try to win too!! (This yard of the month doesn't really exist but it is working pretty well for motivation.)

Well, that is my post for today.
